  1. Hi
We have just bought a camper. Its a 1978 T2 devon sundowner. We are currently on our first proper trip out ie camping and my list of jobs is growing by the day, as I'm sure will be the questions I may need to ask.

    Shes green
    Called Olive
and currently has an original devon interior showing its age.

Having now completed 700 miles, I am still getting used to driving the van but we are loving it so far

    Jobs to do
    Breathers, fuel lines
    exhaust
    washer air pipe
    lights
    leasure battery
    new headlining
    Then
    new interior
    waxoil
    etc,etc,etc

Welcome along. Glad that you are camping already. I'd get those fuel lines checked as a priority.

Yep, unless you know they're ok I'd check the fuel lines before you do another 700 miles.

still original braided types so have been keeping tank below 3/4 for now, but will order new. It is worrying me as there is a smell of petrol for a while after filling.

    It is real though

    Hi from italy.

Great you're using Olive for what she's intended.

Check and change those fuel breather pipes before your next trip....

    Then carry on enjoying her...
