Wish this offer was a few weeks earlier s ive spent about 70 quid on materials to paint and seal my old rusty tank Might be of use to someone though http://www.coolairvw.co.uk/Item/Fea...il Newsletter&utm_term=BAYWINDOW BUS FUEL TAN...
I saw these on the Schofields website a couple of weeks ago. Internally my tank is okay but the outlet on it is corroded, I need to weigh up whether to find and pay somebody to weld a new outlet onto it or to buy a new one.
You obviously missed these then from VeeWee (aka GSF) http://www.veewee.co.uk/index.php/p...ated-parts/293vg0190?vehicle=VW-Camper 68 -79
i phoned a vw breaker up last week for one they said £160 for a second hand one !!! so £180 for new doesnt seem bad i ended up pulling the one out my westie to use on the viking !! so not happy but temped by one of them from veeweee
Non-FI ones seem to have been in short supply. The last Carb one I bought a couple of years ago was £90 delivered from FBI. That's some price rise in the meantime!
it was fbi who gave me that price id pay 90 for a good un but at the current price it got to be a new one
I can well believe it, parts prices are sillier by the day. Have you tried Mega-bug? They turn up the odd cheap surprise.
