They're nice - which top are they for and where do they fit? Any pics to show?

 

This is from a Devon. They are used to pull down the bellows. Both types of strap should fit & the coloured ones are just to add a little style. I have copied the pic in here -

Yours have straps or something else to collapse the poptop Z?

 

A bar along the length of each side, but it tries to get your fingers so I wondered.

 

I can make them to order with or without rectangular ring.... so if you want some let me know.

 

I could also do with something. Like zed I have a bar along and get my fingers trapped if they're not quite in the right place.

 

Can the bars be taken off? I could sew something for you to slip over the bar then put them back on?

 

Blimey no idea. Not had her long. Pretty sure they wouldnt. Back to the drawing board.

 

its not really an option with the side bars but you could maybe make some with a velcro or popper so that you could fit them where you require them if they were needed maybe huh @zed

I can recommend these straps if you've got a late Devon roof. John was good enough to run a few up for me - I was guinea pig - and they're much better than the manky 1970s things you've probably got at the moment.

I'll post another pic when I've scrubbed the filth off my roof.
