New bus owner

Hello to everyone on here.

Just dropping a quick line as I'm new to the forum and bus world.

We picked up our 1972 highlight camper "mavericks" 3 weeks ago.
Some work has already started. I put in a leisure battery last weekend and wired it in to a zig unit. New water pump and tap went in along with a few lights and a DVD player.

I've already taken some good advice from this forum so thanks to everyone who helped already.

Hopefully my better half, me and mavericks we will be off on our first surf trip soon.

Between Wolverhampton and Dudley. I only worked in Wolverhampton town (sorry city) for 12 years. It's ok. I'm out now.

i wouldn't know, i have a neutral accent.

 

It's a black country accent.

 

i have villa fan friend who is always taking the michael out of the west bromwich and wolverhampton accents but i cant tell the difference. he obviously thinks so, but thats another thread - welcome tibbo

 

To be fair I couldn't tell the difference between a wolvo accent and a west brom accent.
