Still no pics I'm afraid. It's under cover at the mo til it goes in the garage later this week. So much to do and fix. Horns buggered. Wipers are sooooo slow. Reverse lights don't work. Fuel gauge don't work. Speedo is hugely inaccurate. Heating doesn't work. Plus I've a couple of switches which don't appear to do anything. On the plus side it started first time this morning after sitting for a week LOL Only trouble is I have little spare time and very short day light hours.
Yes it was a 75 fleetline. I bought it as a project but failed to realise just how much work was involved. I'm all for a challenge but it was wayyyy bigger than I could handle. I listed it on eBay and ended up doing a deal for the orange thing. Was a good decision. Not only cos this one can be used and I can work on it when I have spare time. So made more sense.
This ones nice. It's had a bit of a tidy up by the PO but was a cheap job so overspray on all seals and flaws starting to come back through the paint. But these are jobs I can handle one at a time whilst I use it. It was originally from Greece a couple of years ago and was a twin slider panel. One doors been fixed shut and the other has a window installed. Not sure if its standard or retro. The inside is kitted out with full length rock n roll bed but everything's all black and grey. Very dark n dingy so will get it all out and change it. It also has Porsche wheels on which I hate so I've got the original steels and tyres to go on. That's my next job.
