mid life crisis? me?? never!! bought this last week, put 12 months mot on it, going to run it for 2 or 3 months then sell it on again
yeah yeah its a girls car / hairdressers car etc etc but it is a 1.8 16v rwd the size and weight of a roller skate! i have burned round works very large car park and the back end slides out great! as i said its for a few months as a toy not a serious car. for sale thread coming soon.......
if you look a few spaces along in the pic you will see my daily, the insignia. + the bay + my 106 i let my girlfriend have there are now 4 cars at my house so as i said its not a keeper. i drove it the 50 miles home from work tonight and it was great fun
Hmm. Vauxhall. Don't like Vauxhalls. The only reason really is because of the name. It just sounds so, erm, vauxhallish, which is another word for naff. Strange enough though, I might consider one if it had an Opel or Holden badge on it. And as for the Insignia!? You can buy these with a 2.8 turbo engine. Four wheel drive too. And they go like stink, look pretty handsome and are very well built too. Now, I have to admit it, I quite fancy one. A friend of mines got a Holden / Vauxhall Monaro 6 litre V8. That's a real beaut too.
Don't diss Vauxhall's without trying one. I have done over 200k miles on my trusty Zafira - and pretty much trouble free motoring. I have never broken down in this - same cannot be said for my camper sadly ....
