Nemo...our '79 Westy Berlin Delux...

Introducing Nemo, our '79 Westy....

Unfortunately we have very little history, but we believe he arrived from sunny California in 2008. We've owned him since April this year, and have so far attended 2 shows and had a couple of weekends away.
Plans are for a weeks holiday in the October halfterm, and then a full 2 week holiday in Cornwall next summer.
On the mods front, the bus already had the Porsche seats and wheels when we bought him. So far, all I have done is replace the front indicators with clear lenses. Future plans include... electronic ignition, polish up the louvred side windows, wooden steering wheel and Empi (or similar) shifter.

Slammedresto...it's partly down to you that we bought the bus! After researching, reading and thinking about T2s for about 18 months, I saw pics of your white prototype bay last year and thought "that's the look I want!" Ok, so Nemo is beige not white, and is a late not an early...but nonetheless your bus was a significant influence in my decision, so thanks!

Love the bus. I've just had some 924 seats recovered in Westy material (chrome yellow) just like yours. I haven't fitted them yet but it's nice to see them looking so much at home in your bus.
