I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw one of these parked on the street outside the pub a couple of months ago, good to see it being used though How many Vodka Martinis can you have and still drive?

Your very first pic, as you probably already worked out, is a Borgward Isabella. The story goes Mrs. Borgward saw a karmann Ghia and thought it was very pretty and asked her husband to buy her one. Mr Borgward was offended and said he could build her a more beautiful car, so he did, and named it after her.

My local Ford dealer has one for sale ... UK registered and original paint/ interior....lovely thing.
