WANTED nearside bottom arm/balljoint DONE

I have an old beam sat in my mums shed that I am going to repair one day, (not) how do you get them out, how much do you want to pay how soon do you want it

 

not sure how to get them out,not a lot as i will then have a spare i don't need,as soon as i can.

 

Well we will wait for the 2 experts to tell us how easy it is to remove Paul is probably changing nappies and Zed is probably repairing that bus that he said he wouldn't cos its too dear

If its easy I will remove it and you can pay the postage for it and then return yours if thats ok, then it costs you nothing other than 2 lots of postage !!

 

that would be good, i'd happily do that and as a bonus you'd get to own a part of the famous poo bus.

 

They are the same LHD/RHD early/late.
If you want someone local to press the old out you have to remove the flange part or 99/100 they'll struggle with the tooling.

If you do it locally make sure they understand it has to be pressed in orientated correctly - most modern ball joints don't require this so they're used to slapping them in any old how which would be a disaster on your bus.

 

is it obvious how to do right or are there any pointers you can give?

 

My local garage changed mine, no problem. I supplied the parts and they removed and pressed in the new ones... Ok, they are an old school garage, but most well established garages should have the tools.

 

How do you get the torsion arm off the beam ?

 

I can do you an exchange unit, I have a set of arms with new ball joint in already ,
