    hi all
Thinking of doing a version of the NC 500 in the last week of May and the first week of June.
Anyone done this? I'm going to cheat a little by trailering the van up to my sisters near Inverness.
Any input welcome , dog friendly camp sites , pubs etc .
    Cheers

Doing a sort of dry run this spring.... Edinburgh, Aberdeen and then Inverness....no plans after that, but that's taking from week before Easter till end of April!
Probably head back to South Yorkshire via Oban, Glasgow and the Lake District.
Last time I contemplated the North Coast 500 I was looking at well over a month!
Will watch your thread with interest.

Cheers all , thanks mark ordered the book . Looked at the official NC 500 louey , thanks . All they seem to want is you to pay to drive public roads !

Only use the page for route guidance, certainly don't pay them anything.

    We wont be paying either.

Isnt doing it your own way part of the fun in doing NC500? I think so :)

There is enough information out there to work out a route covering it all including off the grid locations for overnight rest stops
