Yeah the weather's never really bothered me as I camp all year and have the clothes, just beach holidays aren't the best with snow !

Last time we took the van to Scotland we saw no midges.
One day we woke up to snow the rest of the 2 weeks it didn’t stop raining the ferry and bridge to Skye were shut even the dogs would not go out and they were springers
