Paid to much but fell in love with it the engine was missing as it had been fitted with a WRX turbo using a hammer.

I was then diagnosed with CFS/ME and had to give up work as a facilities manager
we decided that the refit would be part of my program in getting better now 2years later its nearly done and i am back at work part time as a electrician doing domistic and camper electrics.
    On with the pictures,
    Had to do the still

Looks great, really like the idea with the maps, different! Do you mark all of the trips on the maps

  12. I very much like the maps on the ceiling trick! How are they holding up? Wondering if they'd bubble etc. over the winter lay up?

seeing this thread again reminded me our westy roof needs something doing with it - I'll have to get my thinking cap on! still think the maps on the roof is great :D

  14. I like the silver insulation. Any issues with condensation etc. does it actually work ?
Also, did you use any sound insulation materials ?

i used some flash band for sound deading you can see it 100mm silver strips i just stuck it on and heat it up with a hot air gun to bond it to the contours.
No condensation issues apart from a bit on the windows defiantly made a difference

The maps have held up i used spray glue than a few coats of mat varnish over it all

  16. Thanks Matty. By flash band, do you mean the stuff used in buildings ? For roofing etc. ?
I guess you took the approach of covering a % of the area as is normally recommended ?

  17. Sorry another question. What did you use to stick the insulation on with ?
