I have decided yo try and trace the history of my bus... Gone through all the paper work I have and today and knocked on the door of the previous owner before the guy I bought her off. They have details of who they bought her off and photos... Looks like she was used for carrying carpets though the 90s....... Hope to go back to the first owners.... Has anyone else done this with success?
there are a couple of threads on here , one my @Mrs Moosey and I think the other by @dean_butler , I am sure they will be able to assist, I would go and search out the threads but have to get to work
I got the history from the DVLA, and have so far written to the first 2 owners (only 13 more to get through ). I think the first one is probably dead by now, and the second one sent a brief email saying he'd send a proper reply in due course - I'm still waiting for that! Did you fill in the V888 form with the DVLA? Here's the thread I started.
