Yes I am obsessed with bikes and Ducati's in particular. At the top is Marma my luvverly 1198. Below is Daisy my beloved 916. If anyone on a bike like these gives you the thumbs up it'll likely be me, so say hi.
It probably comes as no shock to learn I have come off every bike I have owned ;D that said, I do love bikes, but gave it up for fear of death (not me, the bloody motorists) lovely bikes mate 8) 8)
Thanks Dubby. I have broken a few bones too during my bike years. Been riding since i was 16, now 46. 30 yrs man and boy. Hardest game in the world.... broken every rib on left side, collar bone, shoulder, both wrists twice each, numerous fingers etc etc. But i just love it so. (also have an old vespa rally 200 lurking in garage. I'm an ex scooterist...)
love the bikes mate im am R1 no was ,would love to get back on one again but now fancie something like an old yamie V-max. think that would finish me and the mrs of for defo thou im getting 1
My mate has an R1. The thing is an animal. Would scare the Marmite outta me. It is stupid fast. My neighbour has a Vmax, ive always liked the look of them but he wont let me have a go. do it.
Always fancied a duke but outta my budget and I'm getting too old for sports bikes. Body does't seem so supple. Last bike was an FJR. Arm chair riding.
Nice bikes. 8) I used to have a Bandit but sold it a couple of years ago as I was starting to enjoy high speeds a bit too much. Still have a couple of Vespas though.
One of these days i am gonna pull the rally 200 out from under all the stuff in my garage and put it back together. If i was still 20 and there was a rally at the weekend i'd have it back together in no time. But i'm not and have no real interest in scoots anymore. besides I was a lambretta man. The rally is technically the wifeys. I really miss my old lammy. 2 germans from nuremberg bought it from me in 1990. Twas a 1971 GP200 in AF Rayspeed Special Extra Type 250 in blue and purple metalflake. I sold it for £800. Be worth more like £8-10k now. I needed the money for a bike to commute to uni. Sigh, i really miss her. :'(
cool i love bike i've got a mental fireblade one of the first ever built ;D , and a 1983 XL500 RC for popping wheelies on the beach 8)
cooool an XL500...I really like those...nice big thumper. I recently sold a Husqvarna SMR510. I love big singles and twins.
I've got a tango orange Z750 sitting in the garden, Been there two years and only has 5000 on the clock. Change of circumstances at the time meant it had to be put away but this winter.... Not much will happen to be honest but it really should. Can't let the roads be taken up by all you power rangers. ;D
im drooling such gorgeous bikes.....i so wish i could touch the floor on those lol i tried a race one which was lowered but not suitable for the road lol! arghh never mind had a full license since i was 18 and its been well used along country lanes and roads all over derbyshire in the past
Love the SP bootsam, my favourite bike. I am like DUBious, and kind of given them up now I am nearly 50, but I still have my trusty cbr400rr, which would be low enough for jellytot to get her toes on the floor ;D http://thelatebay.com/index.php?action=media;sa=media;in=161;preview
