I popped round my Mums today with the kids, 4 and 6. Nanny said her cat had died. It had done well it was 20. My Mum is 83 but quite healthy, if a bit doddery. She always has them done, yearly service etc. She said she felt so lonely now. I said would you consider a rescue cat thats a bit older ? Surprisingly to me she said yes. The discussion ensued and she said she wouldn't get one until January as she is away over Christmas. My 4 year old piped up.................... You might be dead by then !!!!!! Bloody kids
