So I've found out what every other hose does that runs to my air filter with the exception of this one on the top. Anyone got any ideas what should go on here? Bus has run fine to date without anything on here but I'm starting to become a bit of a completist when it comes to this air filter!!
From whence would this hose originate? The breathers under the roof of the engine bay cross over and there seems to be a sort of connector - should this be t-piece?
Some little rascal has been fiddling. T-piece and some more hose to be ordered then. Cheers. Hose under my spare wheel was crusty and had fallen off at one end as well. Rest of my fuel lines are fine though - as I just checked them all.
It has just occurred to me that the hole in the top of the air filter is significantly bigger than the t-piece where the breathers join. Is there some sort of adapter that is needed?
Good work mate, I've got a couple of outlets / pipes that I'm not sure about and as of yet not got to the bottom of... Is yours a twin carb set up ?
I'm in the process of reattaching my fuel tank breather hoses but don't see any connectors on the filter? Have a got an earlier filter perhaps that didn't have this connection?
Std twin carbs, type 4 engine with stock air filter. All hoses now present and correct save the fuel breather that needs to go into the top.
Been out there and looked at my final pipe. I need to find a pair of small connecting pipes (small plastic pipes about an inch long I'd say) diameter around 5mm obviously with a hole in the middle. The original is there at the t-piece but only about 6 mm long and there is no way its going to hold the two pipes together.
