I saw a young lad in town on the bridge earlier who was crying his eyes out. I asked him what was wrong and it turns out he had just lost £100 in cash which he had been saving for all year to buy a bike. I walked off then decided to turn back and give him a tenner so that he can start saving again. I believe that good karma comes back to you if you spread enough kindness. Fortunately for me I had just found £100 just 10 minutes before so I wasn't out of pocket.
I once picked up a wallet with $750 in it - they hire out tourist 4 wheel bikes in Monterey in California, and as you pedal it empties pockets I suppose. I handed it into the Tourist Information place because I didnt want hassle, and it would have only paid about 5% of the cost of the holiday anyway. (once in a lifetime, we were left some money and so we went to California for 3 weeks)
