paperwork came through for the plate i'd had on retention for two years, been on about ten cars now!

 

what does it mean rick ?

 

i don't have a middle name so i bought it when i was 30 and had it spaced illegally to read B30 RM which was fine when i was 30 and before i'd changed my surname...... now i guess it means nothing other than getting the van off age related plates and sentimental reasons B46 RC isn't gonna work....

Bentleys are a real tight fit with opening the side loading door as we found out with ours.

 

got my replacement wing back from the sprayer today, just got to get round to replacing it, have put it in the camper for safekeeping.

what stereo do you have in it? i have an RCD 510 available. i can fir and code it as well

 

just the standard fit one in it.

 

Put a new wing on the drivers side and straightened out the passenger one, aligned the bumper as well.
The lads on the caddy forum said you can't remove the wing without getting the 1/4 light out..... i did it without.

We changed the fixings up by the quarter light to make them easier to undo if we ever need to again.

 

yeah it's a stupid design but i just removed the bracket they fasten to and then did it that way, bit scratchy on my fat arms but 10mm spanner and happy days, i must get some rachet spanners.

Were your new wings off another caddy or repro?

 

i only replaced one the drivers side, it is an original used one off a white caddy, it had already had a repro wing on the drivers side so this is the 3rd wing it's had, my brother stuffed it when it was quite new then stuffed it again not long ago...... the passenger one is original - i just straightened it a bit.

 

i should also add my brother had his brand new 63 plate vivaro crashed into last week, he has had it 4 weeks.......
