The front panel was a bit crispy, so decided to cut the panel out down to the deformation panel 20141116_092857[1].jpg 20141116_092937[1].jpg 20141116_092922[1].jpg

Now onto fitting the new panel which wasnt as hard as i thought it would be, opening up the returns to the post and then using a strap pulled in nice 20150118_130408[1].jpg 20150322_094214[1].jpg

Got myself a rollover jig and managed to get bus under the carport, trying to keep the noise down to a minimum as its against next doors lounge. top coat of gloss and raptor black finish. IMG_20190927_103232.jpg

So as winter was approaching and the car port was smaller in length than the van, it was on the move again to a mate of mine who had part of his barn where he stores all his lifting gear available. I was at the stage where i needed it dry and warmish to get all the filling and primer on. This bus has moved more in milage to different locations than i have driven it.

My 2 doors where shot but we set the front panel up with them but after i managed to locate 2 early doors with the smaller hinges but these left a bugger gap between the doors and the front panel edge, so we had to tack weld a strip along the edge and skim over. 20200425_164412[1].jpg 20200425_164353[1].jpg

The poptop roof carpet was a bit grotty and stained so decided to strip it out, fitted 25mm cellotex for insulation and recarpeted it. IMG_20200424_121809 (2).jpg
