My 1st ever camping holiday photo thread

I'm in the pram behind my sister on Mr Hoppy
Were in Abersoch in 1972.

That's a silver cross pram I do believe . we had one of them, very expensive coach built quality.

 

We still had the caravan in the front garden until the mid 90's ,turned into a great party van in my teens
Plus use to pretend to go to college and just walk straight into it and crash after a heavy night

 

Just looked them up and are going for £300 upwards. better get my old one back form the museum.

 

Scary!! But fun! Silver cross eeeh not like they used to be eh?

Apparently 60/70's caravanning is the latest cool trend!

We had a Silver Cross when my daughter was born, my parents were good friends with the finance director at Silver Cross and they got a good deal on it - lovely prams but very unwieldy - we have photos taken in various locactions around Wapping where we lived - you can barely see us for the huge pram in front of us

 

They were the Rolls Royce of the pram world.
