I bought the van 4 years ago unseen from a guy I know who deals in vws, he sent me a handful of pictures we agreed a price and the deal was done. I was in no rush to have the van delivered as we had just moved into a new house with a 5 month old and I was a bit short of time, it was another 2 years before I saw the van in the flesh and it was in great condition. Repaired and in primer Engine out for pushrod tube oil leaks and a spruce up Outside the paintshop all nice and shiny  Fuel tank hoses replaced Going back together Spiderman testing spiderbay for comfort Few pics with my slightly modified westy interior And finally with its MOT, few jobs to do but its ready for use ;D
love the colour , i see u have super heros in your house to , them vans seem to attract them lol owen nw ;D
cool bus, good honest condition, and tidy restoration, getting fraustrated that I cant get near mine just now.. Enjoy the better weather when it eventually arrives
thanks for the comments guys it is cool to have it on the road, a few teething trouble but nothing to serious just a blocked fuel filter, off to the dvla this morning to register it, spiderman is at school so i will have to risk the dangers of the universe by myself. :'(
That's really unusual, a non-walkthrough Westy. What's the name of that Westfalia conversion, do you know? And have you still got those mudflaps (and are you planning to keep them)?
very nice looks even better in real life ;D ........now get a resto thread up for your tipper ;D K+ for posting
looked good when I saw it on Sunday at Beach Buggin ;D .... how'd you afford to get it sprayed at ERB ? I got them to price me a panel repair on my car and it was a fortune :
