Mouse in hiding.

Drove Ted for the 1st time in ages, there appears to be a mouse hiding in the front suspension, how do I stop that bloody squeaking!
While I'm at it what's the word on front shocks?
I think mine are original!
Looking for comfort now that Ted is high and proud.

I'm just waiting on a reply from AVO, to see if they still do oil adjustables for late bay....won't be cheap, but a country mile better than the carp on offer at the moment...I'd go boge on the front.....KYB gassers are a bit harsh IMO

 

Grease your beam. Then fit boggo oil-filled Boges.

 

For the shocks? Rauchkaser or Weisslacker?

 

If the shocks are original, they're going to be somewhat flaccid by now, I'd think.

 

I'd forgotten how much I love driving Ted.
Comfort and ease is the way forwards.

Mine was squeaking/creaking on the front. Greased the beam, still did it. Changed front shocks to kyb gr2's now it's awesome.

I've had 'hard as rock' suspension on cars, my fillings won't take it any more!
The Beetle has adjustable Gas KYB's and they're on minimum setting all round.

 

I had the little bar stewards in the Beetle last year, they made a nest in my Mint Imperials.

 

pretty sure they do these in your size....
