  1. had the bus Mot yesterday, same chap who has done it for last 8 years and always been fair and understands older vehicles. any way this year he has had anew ramp with shaker plates which he can operate with a remote. drive the front onto the plates and he hits a button and they shake while he can check all the joints without having somebody sat in rocking the steering. they shake that much he can check the rear bushes too. quite something to see. oh Bus passed by the way.

Yes all mot station were meant to have them as part of their system lots of people installed them and vosa changed their mind, cool thing though , £60k each the dude told me

  3. I took the new landy for the MOT and thay used the shakey plate thing ,it passed , but it was so violent ( it was a ramp used for testing class 7 )
It put me off ever taking the VW or the old landy , i don't think they would survive .

  4. I can imagine it will shake the rust and filler out some cars....I was gonna put buses but we all look after them so don't suffer from rust / filler issues...hmmm
