Morning all - sunny here. Hoping it might melt a bit more of the snow so any spring flowers can be seen again (if they haven't been killed off).

 

I remember it well - my Dad was a great Flanders and Swann fan.

G'morgen folkens the goal of 30 m3 bags of firing wood was done made yesterday.
Today we will start chopping up the rest of the logs,,should be enough to get maybe 350 60 kg bags.

is it morning -been up all night as next doors "few friends round" turned into an all nighter - two police cars just been - the gardens been trashed and it sounds like they've trashed the place, The girl who lives there has two kids aged 3 and 1 ans she was on a final warning from the council - the other neighbour rang the police 17 times from what I could overhear. Anyway, any chance I had of going out today in the van has gone out of the window. i'm knackered

 

Morning All. . . not sure if am awake yet but thats ok its nice and peacefull. Its not good Mabel when you have to put up with that sort of noise,my mum and dad have put up with that sort for 4 years now. Wish the council would do something about it.

 

thanks VDB - She had told us she was having a party which I'm ok with and to be fair I went to bed at midnight and went straight off until about 0330 when the guests started smashing flower pots and throwing plants about. i went downstairs at 0400 to keep an eye on the van as she is parked right up against the wall between us. It sounded like the house was getting smashed up and at 0550 two police cars turned up. The neighbour on the other side has complained about her a couple of times and she is on a warning from the council so if it is true and the police received 17 calls and the house has been trashed then she'll be evicted. She knew the score so its of her own making. its all quiet now.........

he he - i know her mum and dad will be round later and they will flip because she has two youngun's and may not get another place. despite the lack of sleep I dont feel too bad. At least we have tomorrow off here as well so i can catch up on the zzzzzs
