As above, tyres fitted but I've never had air in them and believe the rubber is knackered! Wheels spot on, ideal for refurbishment swap.

I'm sure we can sort summat, I've got a couple of T4 rims with good tyres on which cost me a bottle of Kraken which don't fit due to the hole in middle being too small, any good to you or have you resisted expanding into the market of the dark arts?

 

Yes but they were also too big so would have needed to change the tyres to a lower profile or re positioned the mudguards a bit higher so I just took the ones already on the pod & had new tyres fitted, cheapo ones as they certainly didnt need to be load rated commercials & I had a lower profile too.

I did want to get a couple of alloys similar in style to whats on the Robowagen but wasn't 100% sure that ones off a T4 or old Passat would fit so I did a low cost trade with some local geezer for a pair of steelies which I'm glad I did otherwise I'd be stuck with a set of alloys to punt on!

So as I've now purchased new tyres for the old wheels I shall whip em off over winter & paint em but I do need a spare which brings me back to asking @Dicky if he has used that wheel carrier I gifted him & if not could he gift it back to me, unless you have used it or gifted it on tho as I'm thinking of mounting the spare on the front of the pod possibly with some kind of storage box too possibly?
