More herbs, less salt day was yesterday. Adults are advised to have 6g of salt a day (about one teaspoon). Current average intake is 9g so this day is to envourage use of herbs over salt.
I don't add salt to cooking but at the table. Buy unsalted butter. Bake my own bread so its not full of c#*p. There is far to much salt in process foods and other stuff to combat the stuff they put in to make it look and taste right after they have processed it to death.
