I have always thought the concept of Minecraft was pants. Why would I want to play a block game that looks like it was from the eighties when we have almost lifelike games out now. I was bored the other night do downloaded it and I can honestly say I'm hooked. It's not about the graphics, it's the gameplay and creativity side of it. Anybody here play it?
The two masters love it and have it on their Christmas list as they only have the demo at the moment. The eldest master is building a model of a creeper at school.
It sounds like such a terrible concept for a game, but it's incredible, the more things you create the more things you realise you can create That creeper model is fantastic ) I really hate those things : Josh
I got that pic of the web - the young master's effort is more cardboard coloured with a watery greenish tinge.
I've never played this, can you get it for the iPad? I was a Doom player, we used to play over the network at work during lunchtime & before the days of broadband we would dial into a games server to play against others.. Z was good too... Robo...
i have a vista but it slow's everything quiet abit just having one on here! but i do think i have too much rubbish on here! Have you heard of total annihilation it is similar to c&c but robot's google it! if you like c&c i bet you would like this
I have it and battle tactic's somewhere which was another addon might have to dig them all out and dust them off! ;D
I've mine craft on Xbox and on my mac I also had it on the I phone but it was hard work If anyone know how maybe we should set a tlb server up It could be good as I quite like just digging holes ,some might like just getting wood While others might like erecting
Setting up a server is easy enough, the only issue would be leaving the machine always on. I dual boot between windows and mac depending on what I'm doing but could happily run a server.
OK, Server setup and running. You need a copy of Minecraft 1.4.4 installed You also need to download 'Log Me in Hamachi' unmanaged https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx Install Hamachi and click 'Join An Existing Network' Network ID: TLB Minecraft Password: tlb Now load up Minecraft, click multiplayer and then add server.
