megabug headlight grilles - anyone fitted them? if so how????

any advice would be appreciated as done my head in trying to figure out how the grilles clip in to the clips provided!

Mesh headlamp stone guards sold by a company called megabug

Mart are they the ones with 3 metal tabs or the ones with a steel mounting ring?
Any chance of a pic of what you have?

 

We don't run any,just headlight visors.

Yes, I agree as above. Small screws or pop rivet the three brackets to the inner lip of light bowl. (with the "cup" of the bracket facing in), with spacing about 1/3 round each. then slip the grill into the cup as you place it in. Job done! They should keep the rocks off your seeing eyes at on the back roads.

 

I had/still have somewhere a set of these, never could get them to fit as the brackets are too short.

I have these. They've gone up some what though. Sure I only paid £10 for them. I'll try and find my little review I did on them. It's the bracket that I needed to mess around with.

 

There are a type available with a steel mounting ring on them that appears to use the headlamp mounting screws to hold them in place
