Hi all! My names Bruce and Ive just joined, Olive is still in question as her name lol Meet Olive, bought her Friday From Glasgow and pootled on back down to Sheffield to my girlfriends place, Never skipped a beat, although I'm still getting used to the Auto gearbox and how they work, does anyone else have an auto on here? Are they quite common or do people tend to go for manuals for better control when it comes to hills? anyway! here she is, Outside in mint and underneath is dry and solid, just the interior needs freshening up, here are a few piccies, Was thinking of lowering her, what do you guys think? Photoshop ill get some more up in time Hope you like her
nice bus - she already looks lower than stock height and that looks a decent view from your back garden
don't lower - you know sheffield has hills and kerbs at the side of the road and speed bumps in the middle of them bek
Nice bus Bruce, welcome to the south Yorkshire branch . Olive is lower than stock already. Nice height already mate.
Thank for the warm welcome! My girfriend lives in killamarsh and its the view of rother valley, well nice! The bottom picture is of a photoshop representation of what i might aim for when i make a decision lol ill keep an eye out for the meet near by cheers peeps
I guess it's a case of 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. Either that or some folk are blind Because the photos prove your bus looks far nicer at stock height. Lowered Bays look like their suspension's shot. I don't know what it is: Splitties look great lowered, Bays don't. Oh and by the way, your bus looks really lovely. You've got the right wheels too. Please don't lower her.
thanks guys! im still torn, id feel more stable on the road if i lower it, probably sounds daft but my thinking is it might make it a bit more wind friendly, (reality check..ITS A BUS!) lol, but i think it looks funny sitting higher at the front, but i kind of like the awkwardness of it looking that high, was thinking of Poddington or Greengrass for names too lol, Thanks BayDreams, was thinking changing the wheels but not sure yet, a lot of ideas rattling round!
