here is a few pics from yesterdays McLaren openday...it is for employees and friends and you bring you car, rod, classic or bike if its interesting...it was amusing to see that most of the new roadcar assembly is made up of the local aircooled vw fraternity...so there were plenty of ol vw's represented in the show area

I didn't realise McLaren were responsible for the upkeep of what's his face from cars

Mandy, is that beaut of a Marino yellow bus yours? He/she looks well tidy. I'm going for black door panels in mine. Some have said they'll make the bus too dark inside. I just know they'll look at treat on Marino yellow. Have you got anymore photos of the bus in and out, assuming it's yours. I'd love to take a look.

 

the original interior was black so we just matched the rear seats to match..and kept the existing panels in the rear.
the cab is untouched

 

Two things.


Firstly, Mandy, your orange Prosign bus is perhaps my favourite late bay, possible my favourite bus. Absolutely stunning.


Secondly, one of those pictures is of a McLaren Stirling Moss which when I first saw it at Goodwood Festival Of Speed I had trouble walking away from because it was so beautiful.


God, I'm so soft sometimes.

Jealous! I'd love to have a mooch aroung the McLaren headquarters. 8) My little boy would love it too - he's F1 mad

Mind you I can highly recommend the WilliamsF1 race day hospitality package. Was given one as a birthday pressie this year and it was fantastic. The chance to look round their GP collection was awesome. Even if there was a BTCC Renault Laguna in there as well...
