Following from the temp thread. What would be the kinds pressures you want to see (or not want to see) in a type 1 engine. Mine (1776, dual twin carbs) sits at ~25psi once warmed up and idle To ~50psi warmed up and under load (over 3k revs).
Once it warms up it pretty much sits at about 25-30 psi I don't think cold oil pressure means much (unless you don't have any) Your oil light flicker occurs below 7 psi - when it gets bad
True on the cold oil pressure. Its a mark of consistency for me as the motor has always ran this cold pressure since built.
