Master Cylinder?

  1. Had a bit of squealing from my front brakes and an imbalance, so I've changed the seals in the front callipers (the pistons were very gunked up) and replaced the flexible hoses at the front. Al is well in the back. I hadn't double checked the general condition of the works before doing this. So, trying to bleed the brakes, i'm getting air passing back up the tube into the reservoir. When I stop pumping the brakes you hear it gurgling and then bubbles appearing in the reservoir.

I've checked and double checked the brakes on each corner, checked all the pipeworks etc and all is ok with no leaks - so now I assume its the master cylinder which is at fault. I've removed it - its a servo type so can't be worked on - is my assumption correct do you think?
