Machine shop east yorkshire

Anyone recommend a decent experience machine shop around east/North Yorkshire who can line bore my case and open it up for 94mm pistons?

Going there when my bits come but they didn’t seem that confident over the phone. Might be different when I go in

 

Not many machine shops are confident or have the tooling to align bore aircooled cases anymore. I would send it to a specialist it’s only about £13 incl insurance to send if you get a quote on P2G. Is it type 1 or 4?
Stateside tuning or the engine shop can do them. Not the cheapest but neither are cases.

 

^this. If they’re not confident, I wouldn’t let them near your case.

 

Must be a type 1 if the cylinders are only 94mm. 96mm will fit all type 4 without machining.

 

Yeah type one, when the bits come in I’ll pop it around and see what they say. They have got a line boring machine and was ok with that. If not then will look at this sort of thing.
