  5. Indeed it will but ho you format it might be troublesome. I format in mac osx format and sometimes PC's do not see it. Thus now i generally just fat32 format it.
     
  6. I have some drives I use only on my macs - formatted for osx - then one that stays formatted to use on both pcs and macs
     
  7. ^ good points. If you're migrating stuff from Macs to PCs, best to format it as FAT32 (which it'll probably come as anyway). Mac only, format as OSX.

    Don't forget if it's old-school FAT32, there is a limit on file sizes (4GB, as I recall).
