Lottery win

  1. I'm 42 1 mill & I've give up work, I'd do the odd stuff then for cash only. They've robbed enough TAX off me already. I'm sick of seeing the spivs down the road bumming around with money for nothing! :)

  3. For me at 35 i think i would need a roll over win to be able to give up work and live the life of reilly
but just enough to be mortgage free would be great and give a bit more freedom to sample some of the finer things in life instead of having to watch the pennies at the end of each month

  4. The thing is - if you did win, (a) would you tell anyone, and (b) if you said no to (a), how would you keep the secret?

(I've thought about this even though I know that I'm more likely to be hit by a falling piano dropped by Piano Avion Malhereusement than win the lottery.)

I don't think you can have a "normal" life with a really big lottery win, but what would you do? I'd probably try to run some sort of animal rescue or something like that - I think it would be impossible to just do "nothing" without getting extremely bored.

  5. I won £10 playing an online scratch card earlier

  6. I'm of the opinion that winning loads of cash would ruin your life long term. Work hard and earn it instead. The lottery isn't often called an extra tax on the poor for nothing.

  8. I had a business idea for a large lottery win. I would buy a secure compound where Bay owners could store their vans in their own lockups. They would have internet viewable security cams for their vans, the site would have a couple of fully kitted out workshop bays with ramps as well as a fully kitted out welding bay with all the tools you could need. Fingers crossed for the big win tonight!

  9. Sounds like a great idea without the lottery win. Especially with the weather we've had this year.
