  4. A car from my childhood:

We had one of these, and it used to get patched up every year for the MOT by the welder. The driver's side rear wheelarch was so rusty that the only thing that stopped the water getting in on rainy days was a piece of plastic over the inside of the arch - it stopped me getting wet!

  7. The google translation for that Esteffette is priceless:

I am selling my Renault Estafette 1980.

The car works. The direction is good, the engine is running, the brakes have been revised, the front tires are new, rear tires are good, the body is reviewing the interior is outdated. The car is sold with a gray card "collection". Control technique is OK.

If you are looking for a cheap van, here it is!

So it could be 5 years since anyone attended to anything? Risky...

  11. No ,every vehicle sold here has to have within six month of a current ct[ mot ] or you cannot transfer it to your name [new owner]...BUT if you sold someone a car that had a failed ct that is ok to because the current owner will know it`s faults and you have a month to do the repairs and still can legally drive it...

    they have things sorted here...;)

  12. Thats the way to do it - not like over here with this ludicrous no MOT before 1960 (is it?) madness - talk about death traps on wheels!
