Losing the will to live - help!

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by yorkshirecampers, Aug 25, 2012.

  1. Been trying for pretty much the whole of today to book a nights camping (tomorrow) somewhere between Lytham St Anne's in Lancashire and Huddersfield, West Yorkshire (or will even stretch to North Yorks)

I just want somewhere that takes dogs and it either at a pub, or has one in walking distance (for purely meteorological purposes you understand, so we can shelter from the rain).

Can ANYONE help with a recommendation??

  2. The Helwith Bridge pub, just outside Horton in Ribblesdale will let you camp outside the door for free. They leave the loo door open all night for campers, let dogs in the bar and even have a bacon butty window that opens in the morning.

  3. slight over reaction ... i thought you were suicidal ... :)
