It is great how radio still stands the test of time with TV, and instant access to whatever tunes you want. I get surprised looks when I say that hospital radio is still running. It probably is because radio can be in the foreground or the background quite easily - unlike TV that catches your eye and drags you in to so much crap, which is why I rarely turn our TV on unless there is something I've planned to watch. The presenter, surprisingly does matter, especially on a breakfast show - commutes can be bad enough without some annoying voice or self importance bull being spouted. ...
