Locking threads

    Is it just me that notices that more threads seem to be getting locked . Ive just tried to reply to a thread about scam emails to find it locked . I dont see the logic in that but i am abit thick and an obvious reason may exist. It was an ongoing discussion, somewhat educational ,i dont see the logic in it being locked when more suitable knowledge may be forth coming for people to learn from .
