The inside of my westy's poptop is covered in condensation (well frozen condensation) at the moment which drips down onto everything inside the bus. The poptop is just bare fibreglass inside with no lining at all. What can i use on the underside of the fibreglass to cut down on the condension? Carpet? Foil bublewrap stuff? My sisters old renault 5 campus just had thin carpet stuck to the underside of the metal roof and that didn't suffer from any condensation problems. Rust yes, but not condesation. Has anyone got any links to anything suitable to use?
they have a flock effect on as standard to stop this, i'm guessing a headlining material or thin carpet would do the same, maybe pm delilah or one of the other trimmers on here and see what they say?
As Ricky says it should have a flock finish. Probably sprayed on, but other roofs such as the Moonraker have a fabric glued on. Try this : http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-91-thin-rib-carpet.aspx
My fibre glass pop top is lined with the stuff you line doors with but it still gets cold enough for condensation to form. Don't care though as we've gone indoors until March!
