Lets see your bays dashboard

When we got ours the dash was all scratched to death from what looked like someone using it as a notepad.
I painted it white instead of black to brighten it up a little.

 

That looks really good. We took ours out yesterday to clean it up. Can I ask what paint you used? We're going to sand ours back and then paint. We've got primer and then top coat. Would you recommend anything else? Ours will be yellow like the outside. will post piccies before and after.

 

It has progressed a bit since photo was taken but anyway

 

Its still a work in progress. Im not sure to either keep it body coloured or black to match the door cards.

I like this, where did you get your chrome parts for the vents and clocks from?

 

chrime bits you can get off ebay ive ordered some and the vents have a thread on here somewhere its a great read and step by step process x

 

any one got a link before I start trawling .....because I'm lazy

I'll be doing something soon to try and spruce up my dashboard. Probably over Easter as it will involve taking out the dash front and dash top and send them off for blasting. I've got the paint ready for the metal dash front to be painted the same colour as the van.

At the moment it's a horrendous mess because the orange-peel paint job it has is peeling and reveals that whoever did it didn't bother to prep or prime underneath.
