Here I have for sale a driver and passenger seat taken out of my 79 bay. Someone had attempted to recover the drivers seat (badly) but they will be spare seat covers included with the sale if you want to attempt to change them your self. The seats are in overall good condition for age. You could use them as they are or refirb them. Up to you really. £80 takes the pair. Collection from Bedfordshire or postage to be arranged by buyer. What are the springs like on the drivers seat - are there any broken ones that you know about? I'm interested in these but won't be able to pick up until January....
The springs are unbroken as I remember but I will check, the padding is a bit flat which is to be expected but I used this seat and had no issues. If you are to recover them, you'd sort out the padding anyway. January collection is fine by me, they've been in my garage for 6 months so a couple of weeks won't hurt.
Cool. In that case I'll have them off you. I need a new drivers seat in particular and those covers are better than my originals - they match the rear seats better
