I have a swan neck towbar for sale which I have just taken off my 72 late bay, in very good condition. I am not sure of the make, but I think it has been on the bus from new but cannot be sure of this. It consists of a bar across the back of the bus (with the swan neck welded to this) which is secured to the bumper irons via 4 bolts each side - the bumper irons then just bolt to the chassis rails as normal. I am not sure whether you will need the bumper irons from my bus as well as they may be towbar-specific, but if you do need these, I will need your standard bumper irons in exchange so I can fit my bumper back on. we have a 1974 bay camper, will the towbar fit? If so where does it attach please? Where abouts are you, we are Colchester in Essex and are you able to bring to a show? Thanks Ann and Dusty
Towbar bolts to flat plates at either side which in turn bolt to the OEM bumper fixing holes. I am doing Dubfreeze next month if thats any help and the Volksworld show in March.
