WANTED large rear tinware

Evening,

I'm after the large bit of rear tinware that sits at the back of the van.......the one that the engine seal goes around....mine is a bit crusty

any one got one for sale?

....oh yea, its for a 1600 engine

Kingfisher kustoms do new fibreglass ones.

 

they are hard to find in good condition and when you do they are 100+ cant you repair yours?
you might find one at Stonor Park i a couple of weeks time

I dont fancy a fibre glass one really....only as a last option.....I'd rather pay the £100+ price

I have a couple of leads .....but they are all pretty expensive

 

I've got a full set of tins for 1600, not cleaned them up cos I'm busy fitting 2.0ltr engine, don't know whether to sell the set or split it up?
Here's the rear bit, I genuinely don't know what it's worth, not trying to be greedy?


I'm going on holiday in a fortnight need some spends!

It is maybe the oil on it prevented it from rusting

 

Well there was always plenty of that spraying around!!

 

thanks for the pics looks pretty solid, are there any holes or damage? .......I'm waiting on pics of one from some one else, but if it's not the right one I may be interested in yours ......have you got a price in mind?

 

Pic 5, there's a pin hole visible bottom right, that's about it.
Haven't really looked at any others to come up with a price yet, give me an hour!

The £100+ is why i am still looking. Theyre worth only the £40 i am prepared to pay as I think that's what they are worth. Anything higher is profiteering unless its immaculate. If Diddy doesn't want it, I'll take it Flakes.

 

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me,
