I'm loving the looks of the L shaped seating....not sure how practical they are for a family of 4 ......and probably wont end up with something like this....but I love the look looking at it folded down, it appears to be made from a metal R&R question is, I have a set of westie R&R hinges (I think) .....could I use them to make somthing like this??? cheers
You could. It would be exactly the same as if it were cupboards down the side. If you were to have a sink/hob where whould you put it? I think you'd be lacking storage with that layout, expecially for 2 adults and 2 large kids.
are you calling my kids fat I know what your saying....I agree....its the Mrs that wont listen!!!! ......probably wont bother with a sink TBH - are they worth taking up space for when you can wash up in a bowl?
For us, the large sink with a drainer is a waste of space. When I remake the interior we will incorporate a small sink without drainer. They are handy (especially is raining outside) when cooking, brushing teeth, and I've known people use them as a urinal (not us btw), plus the wasted space is minimal.
I've suggested we get another bus to take camping, with all the stuff she has planned ....I've tried to educate her with regards to minimal camping .....she even expects us to take a clean change of clothes for every day and some spare for the kids incase they get dirty....then there will be the towels, hair drier, crockery, food, duvets, pillows (I've explained sleeping bags wrap up smaller)....and I've still got to find room for a fridge that L shaped seat does look good though
reading your (i Mean Mrs DDM's) requirements you don't need a small VW camper van but a massive white motorhome, sell it now and avoid the disappointment we haven't a sink or a stove inside when its raining, or even looks like it might rain, unlike horts, we go to the pub
