At least I have a convenient shaped core of masonry to fill the hole! My forearms hurt now but I didn't break any wrists! No fun when it catches and you're balancing on top of a ladder!
Wally! I thought about using my sds and buying a diamond core, but I can hire the proper drill and the diamond core for less than the price of a core, no brainer
I wish i could do that Im the sort that buys the tool as it will help me out on another job down the line
I had to drill two round holes in the decking for the swimming pool ladders ,put the ladder in and the holes were to far away, that`s why I laughed...
Interesting day was Saturday. I blame lack of sleep for my mistakes. First I drilled through a leccy cable so then had to spend an hour repairing it. Then I decided to crack on with a worktop with my new router, foregoing a practise run...... Hmmm nice inch long gouge in my worktop. Suppose it was better the worktop than my arm.
Went back to original plan of led downlights so got them fitted. Just normal downlights with gu10 led bulbs Cooker hood fitted up Ducting roughed up That'll be boxed in eventually. Just need to wire the hood into the isolator switch
Had my boys bedroom floor up again to do lights yesterday, then today realise I can't find my work light, looked everywhere but nope. So up came the floor again tonight to see if I left it there. No sign. Really peed off so go to kitchen get a cider, sigh and look up for inspiration, and there's my sodding light on top of a wall unit! I've spent all day up a ladder in the kitchen and didn't see it grrr
Got a new collet through which sorted the problem, had a brief go and made a mistake Have another go this week. Shame about that boiler, glad I got rid of mine
