so i popped round to local shop just there and whilst getting the supplies a load of little kids enter , fresh from local school, one little fella says to his mate "thats him" , followed by "hoi mister , you own that old camper van , dont you?" me, sensing a trap , replies"well i own a camper van, yeah" (whilst trying to exit shop sharpish) little kid ,confers with his equally little mates and comes back with "so your an old hippy then ?" cue him and mates falling about laffing ! me , what could i say ?>>>i said "suppose so lads" and left , thou i was smiling,cos the dudes who own/work the shop will no doubt remind me , every time i visit.
yeah, ok fellas , but to be informed by a 10 year old kid ! knowing if i argued wiv the little bleeder he would take me apart ,(as kids only, can do)without even trying. AND , its my local shop !
