Kickdown switch

Does anyone have a picture of the kickdown switch that goes under the accelerator pedal? where can i buy one of these switches from?

Hi, Yes its the 003

 

Mines away of the winter, as I recall it is a simple press switch under the pedal.

 

Do you know what colour the wires are that go to the kickdown switch? i have a few wires hanging about, but not sure which ones go to the kickdown switch.

 

does the 003 mean 3 gear auto? if so, ill have a look at mine tomorrow, but Im sure i dont have anything under my pedal, my accelerator pedal has a 90 degree rod that goes into a small box shaped thing, to the left? ill have a look but ill probably be looking at the wrong thing lol!

003 is the code for the early Vacuum modulator type trans that was in the early late bays T3s +4s
If there is a metal rod operating your carb linkage coming through the tin on the O/S not a cable in the middle it's the later type box.
If it is the later type it won't have a switch under the pedal.

 

Im going to see the van tomorrow, I will go and have a look.
