Hi, my friend has a late bay poptop, import from the USA, no welding needed at all, it is dry as a nut, only a couple of dents need sorting, all the doors are spot on, no panel repacing, unless you are welding the bus up yourself it could run into thousands to get the job done the right way, and it will be with repair panel that are made up of not so good steel, never as good as genuine Volkswagen parts. With protection this bus will last another 30 years!!! Maybe worth think about, swap your camping interior over and your motor and your ready to go,save the time/hassle and ££££. Sell whats left of your bus to someone ebay ) In Rayleigh Essex, can get it delivered. thanks
Hi Gary, Matts e[mail is matthew.hardy@blueyonder.co.uk the bus has all the running gear except the motor, all the electrics work, poptop is nice, even has good tyres, he has three other buses on the go, and needs to free up some space. Drop him an e-mail and get your bus on ebay, someone out there will love it Good luck with your bus if you do decide to do the metal work.
