That first one might be a VW. (white Merc ) . Looks like a kit car and those indicators are from a U.S. bug. I like Moggy's.
It means he got conned or fooled when buying it so that he paid too much. Ie lots of hidden bad stuff. If your mate fools you into doing something stupid then he stitched you up like a kipper. Or you was left hung up to dry. Bit like being nutmegged at footie.
